PREDOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITION IN THE QUANTUM PHENOMENA ON SURFACES GROUP
About This Role
The Materials Physics Center (MPC) is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the “Electronic Excitations in Surfaces and Nanostructures” group. The successful candidate will work on developing innovative theoretical frameworks that bridge realistic material physics with quantum computing architectures.
The Electronic Excitations in Surfaces and Nanostructures Group at CFM is offering a postdoctoral position (1 year) starting in July to work with Research Scientist Andrés Ayuela, in the theoretical description of materials with emerging quantum properties, focusing on 2D materials, molecular quantum magnetism, and spintronic materials in the THz regime.
The positions will be funded by the Diputación Foral de Gipuzkoa Advanced Quantum Simulations (AQUAS).
