Quantum Measurement Research Scientist (Hiring Immediately)
About This Role
Introduction IBM Quantum is seeking talented researchers to contribute to the development of advanced high-performance circuits and subsystems for quantum computing systems. We focus on the design and system integration of microwave components such as quantum limited and low-noise amplifiers and isolators in superconducting qubit readout chains. Your role and responsibilities The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel superconducting qubit measurement systems. We are looking for a team player with strong writing and presentation skills, who is able to create and communicate technical ideas, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. The candidate must be able to work successfully with a diverse and dynamic team of both operational and technical personnel, collaborate with team members, work independently, and take their own initiative. Required education Master's Degree Preferred education Doctorate Degree Required technical and professional expertise Strong experimental physics background Experience operating cryogenic systems Familiarity with a variety of test equipment, such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, data generators, power meters and frequency synthesizers.
