A Boston-based startup is looking to hire a Software Engineer to join their Simulator Team. They build software to simulate, operate, and orchestrate real-world entanglement-based networks, supporting quantum networks at aerospace companies, national labs, universities, banks, and telecom providers. As a Software Engineer, you'll build software tools for quantum network simulation, emulation, and optimization, while maintaining a scalable simulation platform at low cost. Candidates must have experience working in high performance, GPU computing or performance optimization environments, and strong software development skills (ideally Typescript, React, Python, Fast API, and/or Django.) A Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math is also needed. This role is 100% Remote, ET hours. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be US citizens or US permanent residents.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years in software development

• Experience with in React, Typescript, Python, Fast API, and/or Django

• Experience working in high performance, GPU computing or performance optimization environments

• Experience with package management, containerization, and CI/CD (Github actions)

• Experience delivering Full Stack applications on a cloud platform (GCP preferred)

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math
