About This Role

Experimental Quantum Scientist:

At Oratomic, we are building the world’s first fault-tolerant quantum computers.

Our team integrates expertise across quantum error correction, neutral atom systems, artificial intelligence, and optical engineering as we work together to make fault-tolerant quantum computing a reality.

We are actively hiring experimental scientists to take part in designing, building, and operating fault tolerant neutral atom quantum computers. You will work in an AMO-style team, working across hardware (lasers, optics, vacuum, electronics), software, processor design, and whatever else is required to build the working quantum computer. Prior experience in experimental quantum science (AMO in particular) is desirable but not required. We are hiring at all experience levels, including post-bachelors, masters, PhD, and beyond.

Requirements:

• Wants to build a quantum computer

• Works well in a highly collaborative team environment

Compensation:

• $150,000-$300,000 per year depending on experience

• Benefits (health and dental coverage, 401K, unlimited PTO, paid family leave, visa sponsorship)

• Equity

Work location: Onsite in Pasadena, CA
