Role Description

This contract role of Computational Research Engineer in Quantum Sciences is a hybrid position, located in Santa Clara, CA, with the flexibility for partial remote work. Responsibilities include conducting research and development in quantum sciences, designing and implementing new algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to computational solutions for cutting-edge challenges in the field. The engineer will also run computational experiments and analyze data to support advancements in quantum technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including programming and software development.

• Experience in Research and Development (R&D) and proven research skills.

• Knowledge of Physics and Algorithms, with an ability to apply theoretical principles to practical problems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with quantum computational concepts.

• Ability to work collaboratively in hybrid work environments and manage time effectively.

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in quantum computing or related technologies is highly desirable.
