Quantum Algorithm Developer - Fault Tolerance
About This Role
Quantum Algorithm Developer - Fault Tolerance
We are looking for a Quantum Algorithm Developer who will join our diverse team of experts creating next generation quantum computers.
The role involves mainly the development of novel fault-tolerant algorithms whose implementation will be leveraged by the ParityQC Architecture.
As a Quantum Algorithm Developer, you'll design and implement pioneering fault-tolerant quantum algorithms co-developed with our Quantum Error Correction team, shaping the foundation of the ParityQC Architecture.
These novel quantum algorithms are specifically co-designed to run on (early-)fault tolerant hardware using the parity architecture.
You will utilize the specific advantages of different hardware platforms, to shape algorithms in close cooperation with our Quantum Error Correction experts.
You will conduct detailed quantum resource analysis for the new algorithms and help to shape the path towards quantum advantage.
We're looking for a creative mind with a deep understanding of fault-tolerant algorithms, ready to unlock the next level of the ParityQC Architecture.
Required Skills & Experience
• PhD or Master's degree in (theoretical) physics, mathematics or related subject with a focus on quantum computation
• Deep understanding of fault tolerant quantum algorithms
• Programming skills, in particular Python
• High degree of creativity and pro-activeness
• Ability to work self-initiated and independently, experience in research
• Fluency in English
Preferred Experience
• Quantum error correction codes and/or stabilizer codes
• A proven track record in quantum algorithms development
• Experience in classical algorithm development and complexity analysis
• German skills are a plus, but not required
We are a pioneering spin-off shaping the future of quantum computing.
There are no established paths in what we do we invent, explore, and define the standards for a new era of computation.
We offer the freedom to conduct and publish your research in peer-reviewed journals, collaborate within an international and motivated team, and work flexibly including remote options.
