Your Role And Responsibilities

A successful candidate will lead a team of engineers and scientists and coordinate the technical roadmap and resource allocation to develop and scale-up process integration for IBM’s next generations of quantum processors. The candidate is expected to independently drive cross-functional program management across multiple teams and drive the implementation of new processes that improve qubit performance and yield based on the needs and feedback from the broader team. The candidate is expected to disseminate results through impactful patents and represent IBM in professional meetings and societies.

Preferred Education

Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related experience.

• Familiarity with material and process engineering especially as it relates to Josephson Junctions.

• Experience with leading cross-functional project and/or program management.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Master’s degree in Engineering, or related experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams.

• Hands-on experience with process development, characterization, and integration of Josephson Junctions for quantum computations.
