[Remote] Post-Quantum Encryption Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TEKsystems is seeking a skilled security professional with deep experience in modern cryptography, PKI, and emerging post‑quantum technologies to join a client of ours. This role involves leading the design, implementation, and modernization of cryptographic systems and supporting the development of Post‑Quantum Cryptography adoption strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and modernization of cryptographic systems and PKI infrastructure

• Support development and execution of Post‑Quantum Cryptography (PQC) adoption strategies

• Assess current crypto usage, identify risk areas, and recommend remediation approaches

• Collaborate with architecture, platform, security, and application teams to drive best practices

• Develop architecture patterns and technical documentation for crypto services

• Provide guidance on TLS, certificates, digital signatures, and secure key management

• Act as a subject-matter expert for crypto-related security issues and initiatives

• Help communicate complex cryptographic concepts to business and engineering stakeholders

Skills

• Hands-on experience with cryptography, PKI, TLS, and certificate services

• Strong understanding of NIST PQC algorithms, guidelines, and migration strategies

• Experience in crypto modernization or large-scale security transformation

• Experience designing or managing digital signatures, X.509 certs, and key management systems

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical audiences

• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams

• Experience with enterprise-scale crypto remediation or architecture work

• Knowledge of HSMs, KMS solutions, and secure key lifecycle management

• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) with focus on cloud PKI and crypto services

• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CCSP, or vendor-specific PKI/HSM certifications)
